GHS Safety Data Sheets

SAFETY TOPIC: Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) has an updated Safety Data Sheet (SDS) format. Employees should understand and be able to read all 16 sections with a focus on sections (2) physical and health hazard identification, (4) first aid measures, (6) accidental release procedures, (7) handling and storage procedures (8) PPE requirements for chemicals or groups of chemicals used.
